Look at me in
all my glory.
I am everything you want, so
unattainable.

I am beauty.

Look at my collar--
so defined--
for my hunger
I was filled.

My arms, so slim,
envied by twigs.
As brittle and weak as they are,
they are but a small price.

How my legs loathe each other.
They refuse to touch
(although it was I who made them turn).
Their hatred preserves all this:

my body.
Perfection
through suffering: constant and painful,
but I reap the rewards.

I am free,
bound only by my title
on the sash
that screams my perfection.

Oh, how they love me.
I carry carefully their bouquet.
It is a bad-tempered hedgehog
that refuses to let me win this fight.

Don't you adore me too?
You know you secretly do.
I am pain, I am suffering,
but most importantly

I am beauty.
I was watching Princess Cookie and looking at clothes online and then this happened.

I dedicate this to my friend Claire. Why do I need to dedicate it to someone? I don't know, I just want to, okay?
